Once upon a time, Texans like Ross Perot and Tom Luce had serious proposals for improving the education of all students, including in rural communities. Those leaders have been replaced by voucher profiteers and Christo-nationalists who would rather destroy our schools than improve them
Your latest essay echos what I have expressed to all my elected officials, including Abbott and Patrick, that their actions are paving the way for a democratic revival in Texas. They all try to ignore it and claim the majority of their constituents support them but when you ask for evidence it’s crickets. Keep up your good work.
