Senator Kevin Sparks (R) Midland voted yes on the Senate’s version of the private school voucher bill “SB 2”, which will now advance to the Texas House for consideration.
I spoke with Sparks on Tuesday after he said he was made aware of the social media posts about his position as a Board member of Midland Christian Academy (MCA) he serves alongside West Texas billionaire Tim Dunn and the potential conflict is created given his support of vouchers.
